Can You Support the Sensory Needs of Your Child with Special Needs at Home?

We work with parents who often feel overwhelmed by, or disconnected from, their child's services in a school or clinic setting.  Sometimes you might feel as though your child is learning and growing in these outside settings, but that not much is changing at home.

At IDS, we are developing an Online Video Resource Library to help meet that very need.  Here, you can search videos in most of our service areas - Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Behavior, Sleep, and many more.  In 5 minutes or so per video, you can learn new exercises to do with your child at home with minimal amounts of materials or planning time. These exercises will work to meet all of your child's needs.

Our first four videos are designed to support your child's sensory and/or fine motor needs.  We will be adding more videos with the help of our skilled therapists, in all of our areas of service.
