As parents, we want to do the best we can to make sure our children are happy at school. Yes, we worry about them learning all of the basics in all of the important areas, but we truly just want them to be happy.
Having a child who smiles as she walks into her classroom each day and greets her friends and teachers warmly is priceless. When we have a child who cries, struggles to leave us, and would rather be anywhere else on a daily basis than her classroom, it can be completely heartbreaking.
At IDS, we are truly honored to be a part of these monumental moments in families' lives. But, our favorite part of our work?
“Just to know that someone understands is so refreshing. I feel like you really understand. The transition to our new country and new school went better than we could have ever expected.”
